Shayna Das MSc, MA, RTC

Shayna is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (ACCT#2487) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and experience in education and counselling working with adults, children, teens, and families to combat anxiety and help to reach potential in all areas of life. Her practice offers individual and group sessions for managing anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, motivation and goal setting issues, emotional dysregulation, and parenting struggles. She is a certified EMDR therapist, and also uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems model (IFS), the Gottman Method for relationship counselling, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness strategies to help to internalize the strategies you need to thrive.

Eileen Schmidt MSW, RSW


Eileen is a Registered Social Worker # 3827 (SK) / #846470 (ON) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with a Master of Social Work and extensive experience counselling adults, teens, couples and families. In her practice she offers evidence-based solutions while working with her clients' strengths to manage anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, goal setting, emotional dysregulation, distress, grief, relationship difficulties and family conflict. She is a certified EMDR therapist, and also uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems model (IFS), the Gottman Method for relationship counselling, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative, somatic and mindfulness strategies to help her clients' reach their goals and live their best life.

Eileen

Coralee Pringle-Nelson MEd, RPsych

Coralee is a Registered Psychologist (SK#638) in Saskatchewan. She has a PhD in Educational Administration, with a research focus in leadership and Posttraumatic Growth. Coralee has been practicing in the mental health and education fields for the past 15 years. She has been trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), energy psychology methods (including EFT), among others, which she uses with her clients. She welcomes clients ages 12 and over, and specializes in depression, anxiety trauma/PTSD, traumatic event response, Posttraumatic Growth, suicide and self-harm, stress reduction and management, wellness and work-life balance, adjustment issues, parenting, support for families around educational/learning, and behavioural issues at school, career guidance, performance enhancement, support for those coming out of abusive or controlling groups, criminal justice issues, substance abuse and dependence.

Coralee

Raelee Dubyk BSW, RSW, MSW(pending)

Raelee

Raelee (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker (RSW #6828) who is completing her Master of Social Work practicum with Shayna Das Counselling as part of her Clinical Specialization degree through the University of Calgary. She has been practicing counselling for the past 4 years with adult survivors of abuse, violence, complex trauma, as well as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Raelee is training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and is focusing on developing EMDR psychotherapy skills in working with adult and youth clients. She takes an integrative, evidence-based approach that also draws on theories including Somatic, Narrative, Attachment, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). In her practice she offers a safe, supportive, and judgement-free space where she works together with clients to navigate, understand, and manage their internal experiences to help clients move in a direction that aligns with their values and goals.

As Raelee is an intern, she will be supervised by Shayna Das and Eileen Schmidt

Thomas (Tom) Saretsky M.Ed., RPC-c

Tom is a Registered Professional Counsellor (Candidate), (CPCA #4422) with a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Saskatchewan, and a graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling. Tom’s extensive teaching background gives him a unique skill set in dealing with children and teenagers, who experience a multitude of mental health challenges. He welcomes children, teens, adults, families, and elderly clients to his practice at Shayna Das Counselling. 

Additionally, Tom holds certifications in ASIST (Applied Suicide Interventions Skills Training), De-escalating Potentially Violent Situations and Critical Incident Group De-briefing from the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute. He believes that everyone’s story is unique, and will endeavour to create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can be open to reveal their vulnerabilities and share their experiences. He looks forward to using the modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Trauma Model, solution-focused, and spiritual/mindfulness modalities with his clients.
